Spring has sprung! It is time for new beginnings. I am excited about my upcoming paintings and can't wait to share them. I am gearing up for a great 2010!! I will post more soon. Good day my friend.

Yikes summer got away from me this year. Many visits to the beach, too much facebook and definitely too much Stephanie Plum. Thank you Sherri for introducing me to those books they really have become a little too addicting. I had a great summer tutoring my art students. I am looking forward to a great school year at LCDS. I am also looking forward to getting my show schedule lined up and doing more miniature exhibits this year. I feel my recent success and awards are a tribute to my ability to really start painting from withing. So many artists paint to try to please others. Once an artist can get to a point where they are painting from within, their true ability shines through. I am blessed and I am thankful.

Although it does not quite feel like spring, the rains have begun! I have seeds starting in my kitchen window sill and am looking forward to my 1st planting out in the garden in a few weeks. I am working on my upcomming show at the seaside art gallery as well as releasing my summer art classes. I cannot wait for a nice warm sunny day so I can once again experience painting on the front porch.

Spring is right around the corner and boy am I excited. We have a new puppy thanks to my dear friend Diana. Her name is Molly. She is a maltese. I am very happy to announce that I will be offering private and semi-private art tutoring services starting early this summer. Please check back as more information becomes available.

Happy New Year! Tis the time for setting goals. I have my personal goals set for the year and they definitely include my top hobbies...creating miniatures and gardening. I have been busy painting the kids rooms in our new home in VA. I hope to squeeze in a little bit of mini time before I go back to work at school in January. I encourage everyone to set at least two attainable goals for 2009! I discourage everyone from making one of their goals to exercise and eat better. We all need to do that. Happy goal setting!

It is cold this time of year in Virginia. I definitely need to invest in a serious parka. I am looking forward to a few weeks off of school during the holiday break. I will be ambitiously working on decorative paint and murals in the kids rooms. I am looking forward to dipping my paintbrush again. I will post pictures when the rooms are complete.
