My Story
Edmonston Studios was born from a simple but powerful belief — that handmade art carries a soul.

Founded in 2008, my studio is where imagination and intention meet. As both a colored pencil illustrator and sculptor , I create funny and heartfelt illustrated paper goods designed to spark joy, comfort, and connection.

Each drawing is freehand, carefully layered with depth, warmth, and character before being thoughtfully transformed into greeting cards, printable games, and printable activities. These pieces are created to travel beyond my studio, to be mailed, gifted, shared, laughed over, displayed on refrigerators, tucked into keepsake boxes, and passed from hand to hand.

My lifelong passion for miniatures is a craft I just can't quit as I continue growing my illustrated products studio. Every miniature I sculpt begins with my hands and a blank slate. I work primarily in 1:12 scale carefully shaping each piece without molds, patterns, or shortcuts. I call myself an “Artist in the Raw” because I create without pre-designed prints, stamps, or mass-production methods. Each sculpture is formed, detailed, and painted entirely by hand, one tiny story at a time.

At the heart of everything I create is a desire to slow down a fast-moving world.
To remind someone they are seen.
To give a collector something truly one-of-a-kind.
To offer encouragement in a small but meaningful way.
To create moments that feel personal — because they are.

Being an “Artist in the Raw” is more than a method. It’s a promise. A promise that what you hold in your hands was made with intention, patience, and genuine love for the craft.

With over 25 years as a multidisciplinary artist and art educator, I have dedicated my life to creative expression. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications, I have shared and sold my work worldwide, but the true reward has always been knowing that something created in my hands now lives in someone else’s story.

Art, to me, isn’t just decoration.
It’s connection.
It’s memory.
It’s heart.
And I’m honored to create pieces that become part of yours.
