My Story

Edmonston Studios is my unique handmade artisan workshop, founded in 2008. As both an illustrator and sculptor, I create a wide range of handcrafted scale miniatures and models, fueled by my love and passion for collectors, dioramas, props, and more. While I primarily work in 1:12 scale, I also accept commissions in smaller scales.

I practice my craft as an “Artist in the Raw.” Simply put, this means I do not rely on patterns, pre-designed prints, molds, or stamps when creating my miniature sculptures. Instead, I sculpt and fabricate each piece by hand, and I freehand paint and draw my illustrations in miniature which are sometimes digitized for printing.

On a deeper level, being an “Artist in the Raw” reflects my commitment to authenticity. My passion for creating drives me to intentionally avoid mass production methods that can diminish the originality and soul of each piece. Every creation is a unique artistic expression, born from dedication and love for the craft.

With over 25 years as a multidisciplinary artist and art educator, I’ve developed skills in illustration, painting, sculpting, and scale miniature design. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications, I’ve shared and sold my creative works worldwide through numerous outlets over the decades.
